According to current documentations the FYDP II will cost about 107 trillion Tanzanian shillings. The government is required to collect 59 trillion from domestic revenue and the rest will be solicited from the private sector and development partners6. The main challenges for implementing FYDP II are financial resources, poor coordination (ministries, LGA, CSOs and private sector), weak monitoring and documentation of results.7. CSOs should make analysis and close follow-up and monitoring of the implementation of the FYDP II, to see how much budget is allocated to which priority sectors.CSOs’ projects and programmes should be directed towards promoting accountability, transparency, proper allocation of resources to critical sectors such as health and education. Projects and programs should also promote participation and inclusiveness of marginalized group’s such as women and vulnerable children.Promoting the space of CSOs should be an integral part of CSOs development cooperation work as CSOs are important actors which provide meaningful and valuable input towards the implementation and realization of the FYDP II objectives.Tanzania’s new FYDP II and implementation of SDGs from Kepa ry
