The digital education ecosystem in Tanzania consists of government and various civil society players and solutions, both Tanzanian and international. In Tanzania, there is a need for advancing the opportunities for digital skills learning more broadly and inclusively. There is progress in this field, but more could be done with the cooperation and raising awareness about the available opportunities for digital skills learning.
This report will provide information about the digital education landscape in Tanzania, starting with describing the education landscape context as well as education policies. The report then moves on to describe the findings of the study and finally, provides suggestions of actions to consider when operating in the digital education field in Tanzania as an international NGO.
