Welcome to Fingo’s Spring General Meeting, which is held on 25 May at 15.00 at Puistokatu 4, a Space for Science and Hope.
At the beginning of the meeting, organisations will be welcomed by Nina Salasola, Chief Community Officer at Puistokatu 4. She will give a brief introduction to the activities of the building and its work towards promoting an ecologically sustainable future.
After this, we will move on to the statutory items of the Spring General Meeting. The meeting will review the 2025 annual report, the financial statements, and the auditors’ report.
Following the formal part of the meeting, the programme will continue with current research insights. Three researchers working at Puistokatu 4 will give short presentations on how their respective research topics connect with NGOs’ work on the sustainability transition.
The presentations will address the importance of co-producing knowledge in political processes, the role of interaction in shared decision-making, and the links between economic inequality and the ecological crisis. Together, the presentations offer perspectives on how organisations can strengthen collaboration, engage in constructive dialogue, and promote just and sustainable solutions in their own work.
After the researchers’ presentations, there will be time for joint reflection and for bringing together key takeaways. What kinds of thoughts did the presentations raise in relation to your organisation’s work, and what will you take with you from the event?
The day will conclude with informal networking and discussion.
Welcome to join us!
