World Village Festival
Fingo’s World Village Festival is Finland’s leading event for global action for the whole family, an admission-free cultural festival and a trade fair for sustainable development.
World Village Festival showcases global challenges and solutions, increases people’s understanding and provides concrete ways to take action to create change. The festival brings people together, because only together we can change the world.
The next festival will be held on 29–30 May 2027 in Suvilahti, Helsinki.
The festival’s theme is UTOPIA – what kind of world is possible. Utopia invites us to imagine what a just and sustainable world might look like – and to seek concrete ways to build it together. The festival will explore alternatives for the future and the actions and changes required to achieve them. At the heart of the event is a globally just transition towards sustainability: how we can work together to build a better future in an ecological, socially and economically sustainable way.
The call for programme opens in October and exhibitor registration opens in November.
