According to the African Development Bank, the continent’s combined infrastructure funding deficit stands at a staggering $100 billion per annum. Hence, it cannot be overstated that a multi-actor, multi-sectoral and nuanced approach to sustainably fund critical infrastructure that improves the lives of everyday Africans.
As such, the Finnish-African Society ry (Suomen Afrikka Seura ry) is hosting a salient discussion in partnership with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, on 29th September from 9:00-15:00 at Eurooppasali (Malminkatu 16, 00100, Helsinki).
Since 1964, the Finnish-African Society has been at the forefront of facilitating cross-continental partnerships and diplomatic missions that promote and facilitate, amongst others, trade and investment promotion. In continuing this tradition, the 2022 Annual Business Seminar will serve as a platform for our members and partners to network with critical stakeholders (in the public and private sector) that are geared toward catalysing cross-continental partnerships between the EU and Africa.
