FULL/TÄYNNÄ: Self-evaluation is a vital process for improving learning in a project and programme. It can be used as a reflective practice during monitoring or as a separate evaluation. In this training we will learn about the different approaches, building blocks and methodologies of self-evaluation. We will also discuss about how to conduct self-evaluation process that creates supportive environment for engagement. There will be a small homework between the two sessions of the training.
Participants are expected to have general knowledge and some experience about evaluation processes in project/programme management. We hope the participants will share their experience, knowledge as well as thoughts and worries, values and perspectives of evaluation during the training.
As a result of the exercises and experiences provided by the trainers and peer exchange, you will be able to reflect what self-evaluation can be and how you can integrate it as part of project management. You will understand what reflective practice is and how to create supportive environment for engagement as well as have ideas on how to go forward to transfer the knowledge to practice.
The training is facilitated by self-evaluation experts from consultancy firm ACE Europe: Corina Dhaene from Belgium and Qureisha Nagdee from South Africa.
